BMS Consulting History

History of BMS Consulting is the history of the company's achievements and professionalism, level of which is growing with each solved task.

We went over a long path of development through the hundreds of different projects and continue to go along it, finding and offering our clients new solutions, new products, and new technologies.

BMS Consulting was founded on 7 July 1997 as a result of reorganization of BMS Ltd. 

BMS Ltd. was created in 1991 as a private Ukrainian company with the headquarters in Kyiv. Since then, BMS has created and developed several successful spheres in its business activity including system integration and distribution of general-purpose computer hardware.

1995

According to the independent polling, BMS Ltd. is one of the three largest resellers of computers and office equipment.

BMS’s information technologies business was spread over the two main spheres of activity: distribution through the extensive dealer network and system integration which the company has successfully implemented as part of the number of successful projects in sphere of information technologies in Ukraine.

Due to the growing sales volume BMS was reorganized into BMS Holding. The company’s distribution and consulting activities have transformed into an independent business. Thus, three companies were formed in the middle of summer of 1997 which became part of BMS Holding: BMS Consulting, BMS Trading, and BMS Service.

1997

7 July – creation of BMS Consulting. The company specializes in sphere of creation of high-level integrated solutions. 

BMS Consulting wins several large tenders of the World Bank in an extremely competitive environment.

The same year, BMS Consulting becomes a partner of such leaders of IT industry as Hewlett-Packard, ACER, Oracle, and others. 

1998

BMS Consulting is declared the winner of tenders for the creation of "Information System of the Employment Service of Ukraine" and "Automated Personalized Information System of the Pension Fund of Ukraine".

2000

By this time, number of BMS Consulting’s clients in the corporate segment include such large and successful companies of the national economy in banking sphere as the National Bank of Ukraine, JSPPB Aval, OJSC Ukreximbank, Raiffeisenbank Ukraine, leaders of the telecommunications market: Ukrtelecom, Kyivstar GSM, Ukrainian Mobile Communication, and also such government institutions and organizations as Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Pension Fund of Ukraine, Kyiv City Administration, Ministry of Finances of Ukraine, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Ukraine.

2001

BMS Consulting becomes member of the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The same year, BMS Consulting is awarded the status of the HP Open View Authorized Platinum Partner and the Microsoft Enterprise Solution Partner. 

BMS Consulting receives award "For Achievements in the Development of Business in 2001" from Hewlett-Packard and becomes the company of the year in terms of the sales of Microsoft OEM licenses. 

MTI recognizes BMS Consulting "The Best System Integrator" of the year.

2002

BMS Consulting becomes the only company in Ukraine (and remains such until now) which received the status of the HP Business Partner.

The same year, BMS Consulting was recognized an Oracle partner of the year, a Check Point partner of the year in the "Largest Project of 2002" nomination, and also a Microsoft partner of the year in the corporate clients segment. 

2003

BMS Consulting becomes member of the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The company signs partnership agreements with 3COM (Bronze Partner), SUN (Workgroup System Provider), HP (Open View Autorized Silver Partner), D-LINK (Business Partner in Ukraine).

BMS Consulting achieves the status of Mіcrosoft Gold Certified Partner in three categories at the same time – Gold Certified Partner in the "Security Solutions" category, Gold Certified Partner in the "Corporate Systems" category, and Gold Certified Partner in the "Learning Solutions" category.

BMS Consulting becomes a partner of DELL.

2004

By the results of sales in 2003-2004, BMS Consulting receives the title of the best Hewlett-Packard reseller partner, division of Personal Systems Group in Ukraine. And by the results of the 2004 financial year BMS Consulting received the title of the best Hewlett-Packard partner in Ukraine and the title of "The Best Integrator" from Xerox.

In addition, BMS Consulting received award for the largest contribution in the design business concerning Hewlett-Packard ProLiant servers in 2004 and became the best Personal Systems Group reseller partner.

State Treasury of Ukraine presented BMS Consulting with diplomas of honor and expressed its gratitude for the substantial contribution and successful work in sphere of creation and development of information system in the State Treasury of Ukraine, while the project itself was recognized the best project of the World Bank in sphere of information systems in Eastern Europe.

BMS Consulting receives the status of the EPSON BUSINESS SOLUTION PROVIDER and becomes the only company in Ukraine which has such status.

The same year, BMS Consulting becomes the title of the most dynamically developing IBM partner in Ukraine.

This year, the list of BMS Consulting’s clients was enlarged by adding such companies as Ukrzaliznytsya (Ukrainian Railways), NJSIC "ORANTA", Ukrsotsbank, Berdyansk Commercial Seaport, and Odesa Commercial Seaport.

2005

By the results of the year, BMS Consulting becomes the winner among the companies of information group in the "Best Supplier of Goods in the State Procurement Market" nomination.

BMS Consulting becomes the best Dell CIS partner in sphere of corporate client service.

BMS Consulting again receives the Mіcrosoft certificate in the "Best Company Selling Corporate Licenses to Corporate Segment Clients" nomination and confirms its competence by receiving the Gold Partner status in the "Security Solutions", "Corporate Systems", and "Learning Solution" categories.

In addition, BMS Consulting becomes the best MTI partner.

At the end of 2005, 3COM assigned BMS Consulting as its representative.

2005 becomes the year of structural changes within the company itself. New divisions were created, responsible for operations in the telecommunications and industrial market segments. 

2006

BMS Consulting yet again confirms the status of Microsoft Gold partner in the following nominations: Learning Solution, Microsoft Large Account, Network Infrastructure Solutions.

BMS Consulting becomes the sales leader in both the corporate segment and the state segment of Ukrainian economy by the results of the financial year (between July 2005 and June 2006).

Hewlett-Packard conferred BMS Consulting the status of Platinum Partner in the Open View nomination and recognized as the partner of the year in terms of the sales of Hewlett-Packard software.

BMS Consulting becomes the holder of the status of Symantec Gold Partner of the Year, and also becomes an Oracle Certified Partner and receives certificate for the substantial contribution in the promotion of Oracle technologies in Ukraine.

2007

2007 became the year of new victories and achievements for BMS Consulting. BMS Consulting signs a corporate cooperation contract with BCI (The Business Continuity Institute), a leader in sphere of development of business process continuity strategies.  

BMS Consulting yet again confirms the status of the best Oracle partner and becomes the winner in the "2007 Partner of the Year" nomination.

In addition, BMS Consulting confirms the status of a 3com authorized bronze partner and becomes a first-tier Acer partner and an Aladdin silver partner. BMS Consulting continues working successfully with the world-renown companies including Microsoft, Epson, Novell, Xerox, Hewlett-Packard. 

Also in 2007, BMS Consulting Learning Center and Aladdin Security Solutions have signed a partnership agreement on the authorized training in Aladdin products and technologies.
